Several development initiatives were undertaken in Mandapeta of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema District in association with the local MLA, Shri Vegulla Jogeswara Rao. A total of 960 completed TIDCO housing units were inaugurated and handed over to the beneficiaries. Newly constructed roads, drainage systems, and streetlights were also inaugurated, along with the launch of development works for multiple public parks.
In addition, the modernization of the Municipal Office, carried out at a cost of ₹68.5 lakh, along with the installation of a solar power system, was inaugurated. Fountains installed within the Mandapeta Municipal limits at a cost of ₹18 lakh were also inaugurated. Furthermore, approval was granted for the release of ₹5.95 crore towards various urban development works.
