Empowering Farmers in the Capital Region Through Infrastructure Awareness and Feedback

Village meetings were recently conducted with farmers in the capital region to create awareness about infrastructure development and to gather their feedback and petitions. These sessions took place in Shakhamuru, Lingayapalem, Mandadam and Tallayapalem in coordination with MLA Tenali Sravan Kumar, providing a platform for farmers to share their concerns and suggestions.

Key issues discussed included Zareebu and non-Zareebu lands and problems related to road encroachment plots with actions planned based on committee reports. Farmers were also informed about the option to transport soil at their own expense to support land development and improvement initiatives.

During these meetings, feedback was collected on essential infrastructure needs such as cement roads, drainage systems, drinking water supply and electric street lighting. These interactions ensured that the priorities and concerns of local farmers are being considered while planning and implementing infrastructure projects, reinforcing a participatory approach to rural development.
