A visit was made to Railway Veedhi in Nellore’s 52nd Division to meet the family affected by the recent fire accident that led to the loss of their household belongings and property.
As an immediate relief measure, financial assistance of ₹20,000 was provided to support the family during this difficult time. NCC Group was appreciated for coming forward to assist with the house repair works and for extending timely support to the affected family.
Reaffirming commitment towards the welfare of the people in the City Constituency, it was stated that support would continue to be extended to families facing hardships and emergencies. In a similar effort recently, houses belonging to two families who had lost their homes in an accident were reconstructed and handed over within just one month.
The growing participation of friends, alumni groups, and CSR initiatives in supporting welfare and development activities across the city was also appreciated. Their contributions are playing an important role in strengthening community-driven development efforts.
Meanwhile, the “Green City” initiative is progressing successfully across Nellore. Trees planted in various parts of the city are growing well, and notably, the initiative is being carried forward without utilizing any government funds, reflecting strong public participation and collective responsibility towards environmental sustainability.
