The “Narayana Netra Jyothi” service programme has now been extended to Nellore Rural, further strengthening access to free healthcare services in the region.
As part of this initiative, the “Narayana On Wheels” mobile clinic was inaugurated at Kallurupalli Housing Board Colony by TDP State Official Spokesperson Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy, marking the expansion of doorstep medical services to rural areas.
This welfare programme, launched with the personal funds of Minister Narayana, has already made a significant impact. In just 55 days, 7,116 individuals have received free eye check-ups. Among them, 4,025 beneficiaries were provided with free spectacles, while 150 individuals successfully underwent free eye surgeries.
In addition, under the “Narayana Dental Suraksha” initiative, 4,646 people have received free dental treatment, ensuring comprehensive eye and oral healthcare support for the community.
To further strengthen outreach, eye and dental medical camps are being conducted regularly every Thursday and Friday across rural areas, ensuring continuous and accessible healthcare services for people in need.
