A comprehensive review was conducted at R.S.R. School with teachers to discuss and implement a strategic action plan aimed at transforming government schools into institutions that deliver education on par with leading corporate schools.
A major milestone was achieved with the reopening of V.R. School, which had remained closed for the past five years. Through the generous support of donors, the school has been revitalized with modern infrastructure, newly constructed classrooms, and an enhanced learning environment that will benefit students for years to come.
To strengthen academic excellence, a collaborative initiative with Narayana Educational Institutions has been launched to provide government school students with free foundation courses, high-quality study materials, and comprehensive question banks. This initiative is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and competitive skills required to succeed in higher education and future career opportunities.
Looking ahead, 15 government schools within the city, along with Zilla Parishad schools in rural areas, will be developed as model schools. To ensure sustained progress and high educational standards, regular reviews will be conducted under the leadership of the District Collector, driving continuous improvement across the district’s government education system.
