CM Relief Fund Assistance Extended to Eligible Beneficiaries in Nellore

The government continues to ensure that financial assistance under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) reaches all eligible individuals facing economic hardship. As part of this commitment, CMRF cheques worth ₹50,34,141 were distributed to 56 beneficiaries from the Nellore City constituency. Over the past two years, financial assistance amounting to ₹4,55,33,833 has been provided to 489 beneficiaries under the scheme, offering timely support to families in need.

In its efforts to improve access to quality healthcare for economically disadvantaged communities, the government has launched the Netra Jyothi and Danta Suraksha initiatives. During the last four months, medical screenings have been conducted for nearly 10,000 people, with around 6,000 individuals receiving free spectacles and approximately 5,000 people benefiting from dental examinations.

Reaffirming its commitment to balanced development and public welfare, the government is also prioritizing key infrastructure and education initiatives. Underground drainage works in Nellore are targeted for completion by December as part of the vision to transform the city into a clean and green urban centre on the lines of Chandigarh. Simultaneously, government schools are being upgraded with international-standard infrastructure to provide students with a world-class learning environment.
