Development works aimed at transforming government schools in Nellore into institutions with international-standard infrastructure were reviewed during a visit to the city. The inspection focused on enhancing educational facilities and creating a better learning environment for students.
As part of the visit, the progress of infrastructure upgrades at the MSM School in Ward 14 and the AC Nagar Municipal Corporation Primary School was reviewed. The assessment covered ongoing improvements to educational facilities designed to strengthen the quality of government school education.
The transformation of government schools was highlighted through the growing public response. Schools that once struggled to attract admissions are now emerging as the preferred choice for parents, with one school designed to accommodate 1,000 students receiving nearly 2,000 admission applications, reflecting increased public confidence in the government education system.
The initiative to upgrade government schools to international standards was reaffirmed as a key priority, with emphasis on continuing investments in quality infrastructure and educational outcomes to benefit students across the state.
