Command Communication Centre at its headquarters in Rayapudi, marking a significant step towards strengthening urban governance through advanced technology. The newly established centre is an upgraded and expanded version of the Command Centre that previously operated from the Secretariat, incorporating artificial intelligence and modern digital infrastructure to deliver more efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric municipal services across the state.
The AI-enabled Command Communication Centre will facilitate real-time monitoring of civic services in all 123 municipalities from a single integrated platform, enabling continuous oversight of activities in every ward and street. The system has been designed to monitor key municipal functions, including solid and liquid waste management, drinking water quality, pothole-free roads, and street lighting, while also tracking citizen grievances received through the Puramitra and Real-Time Governance platforms. It ensures that every complaint is monitored until resolution and that pending issues are promptly escalated to field-level officials for immediate action.
The initiative builds upon the Command Control System that was first introduced during the 2014–2019 period and has now been comprehensively modernized with advanced AI capabilities. The upgraded Command Communication Centre is aimed at improving service delivery, enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring faster, more transparent and high-quality municipal services for citizens across Andhra Pradesh.
