Andhra Pradesh Accelerates Preparations for Godavari Pushkaralu 2027 with ₹585 Crore Infrastructure Push

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has accelerated preparations for the Godavari Pushkaralu 2027, scheduled to be held from June 26 to July 7, 2027, with a comprehensive plan to ensure a safe, seamless, and spiritually enriching experience for millions of devotees.

Reviewing the ongoing works, the Minister informed that projects worth ₹585 crore had already been taken up and were progressing at a rapid pace. These include the development of bathing ghats and the creation of essential infrastructure to facilitate the smooth conduct of the festival.

He said that all departments were working in close coordination under the guidance of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, with continuous monitoring of the preparations at the field level to ensure timely execution and to minimize inconvenience to devotees.

Noting that the state was expecting a significantly larger turnout than during the previous Pushkaralu, the Minister said that comprehensive arrangements were being made for sanitation, security, transportation, drinking water, crowd management, and other essential public services.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment to delivering a well-organized and safe pilgrimage, the Minister stated that every effort was being made to complete the preparations to the highest standards, enabling devotees to perform the sacred Pushkara Snanam safely and comfortably. He expressed confidence that the coordinated efforts of all departments would ensure the successful conduct of the Godavari Pushkaralu 2027.
