A significant step towards strengthening government education infrastructure in Nellore, the modernised DSR Government School in Moolapeta was inaugurated by Hon’ble Education Minister Shri Nara Lokesh Garu. Developed at a cost of ₹13.41 crore under the initiative of Hon’ble Minister Shri Ponguru Narayana, the school has been transformed into a modern educational institution with a focus on quality learning facilities.
With the support of Shri Devireddy Sudhakar Reddy, Chairman of DSR Constructions, through the Devireddy Sharada Charitable Trust, the school now features smart classrooms, six types of laboratories, a library and dedicated art, music and language rooms. These facilities provide students with modern and experiential learning opportunities.
The development also includes sports grounds, an outdoor gym, a sensory park and a kids’ play area to support the holistic growth of students. The initiative reflects Hon’ble Minister Shri Ponguru Narayana’s commitment to strengthening government education infrastructure and creating well-equipped learning environments that nurture academic excellence, creativity and overall development.
