A significant step towards strengthening government education infrastructure in Nellore, the modernised RSR Municipal High School in Stonehousepeta was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister for Education and IT Shri Nara Lokesh Garu. Developed through ₹8.3 crore in CSR funds with the support of Shri Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Founder Chairman of VPR Foundation and Nellore MP, the school has been transformed into a modern educational institution with a focus on quality learning facilities. The initiative reflects the commitment of Hon’ble Minister Shri Ponguru Narayana towards strengthening government education and creating better opportunities for students.
The modernised school features 43 classrooms, smart LED screens, science, computer, robotics and a library. These facilities provide students with modern and experiential learning opportunities while supporting their academic growth and creativity. Smt. Sharani Ponguru, Director of Narayana Group, has also contributed to the vision of strengthening educational infrastructure and promoting modern learning environments for students.
The school also includes football, volleyball and badminton courts, synthetic courts, a kids’ play area, a sensory park and an outdoor gym to support the holistic development of students. The development marks another step towards creating well-equipped learning environments that nurture academic excellence, creativity, physical well-being and overall development.
