Minister Ponguru Narayana extended his heartfelt congratulations to the 231 SCTPCs of the 9th Battalion in Venkatagiri, Nellore district, who successfully completed their training and entered active police service.
Emphasising the responsibility associated with the police uniform, Sri Ponguru Narayana noted that it represents not merely a profession but the trust of the public, the responsibility of the government, discipline and a strong commitment to service. He encouraged the newly inducted personnel to make five principles central to their duties: maintaining discipline at all times, upholding honesty even when unobserved, demonstrating courage during difficult circumstances, responding to people’s concerns with compassion and working collectively with fellow personnel.
He also highlighted the invaluable role of parents and families behind the achievement of every police recruit, recognising their constant encouragement, hardships and sacrifices. The newly inducted personnel were encouraged to honour their parents by making them partners in every success achieved throughout their careers.
