The Trupti Canteen in Eluru, managed by MEPMA women, was visited, where breakfast was shared with the women and the operations of the canteen were reviewed. The initiative was observed to reflect strong dedication and to be creating meaningful livelihood opportunities for women.
Women’s economic empowerment was highlighted as a key priority of the Government. Through a focused action plan, efforts are being made to enable 28 lakh urban women to achieve financial self-reliance and grow as successful entrepreneurs.
It was also noted that, building on the success of 8 Trupti Canteens across Andhra Pradesh, 8 more will be launched soon, including one in Eluru. The commitment to expanding sustainable livelihood opportunities and strengthening women as key partners in the State’s growth and development was reiterated.
