A review meeting on the progress of construction works in Amaravati was held at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu garu with representatives of contracting agencies. The meeting assessed the status of ongoing projects and the pace of development across various sectors of the capital city.
During the review, it was informed that works worth ₹50,999 crore have currently been entrusted to contracting agencies. Major projects, including housing, trunk infrastructure, Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) infrastructure, the Assembly, High Court, and Secretariat towers, are progressing rapidly as part of the vision to create a world-class capital city.
The meeting was also informed that 26,924 workers and more than 5,140 heavy machinery units are currently engaged in various construction activities across Amaravati. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum and quality in all works and stated that the progress of Amaravati’s development would be personally reviewed every two months.
The Chief Minister further called upon all participating agencies to contribute their best efforts in transforming Amaravati into one of the finest and most livable capital cities in the country, with every organization leaving its distinctive mark on the city’s development.
