In Amaravati, Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the new headquarters of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA), with Union Minister Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani in attendance. This building marks a significant milestone in the resumption of capital development works and reflects the government’s commitment to organized urban planning and efficient administration.
The inauguration was attended by farmers who contributed land for the capital, highlighting the inclusive approach taken in Amaravati’s development. Beyond serving as an administrative hub, the headquarters symbolizes the renewed momentum in government infrastructure projects within the region.
The building comprises multiple floors and is complemented by several pre-engineered structures on the same campus. During the inauguration, officials presented the layout and construction details, showcasing the modern design and planning measures implemented to ensure operational efficiency. The headquarters is designed to house all departments under APCRDA, the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Corporation, and municipal administration, effectively centralizing administrative functions for the capital region.
By bringing various government offices together under one roof, the CRDA headquarters aims to enhance coordination among departments, streamline administrative processes, and provide improved governance services to the residents of Amaravati.
