The progress of the Seed Axis Road project connecting Amaravati with the Old Guntur Highway was reviewed during an inspection of the ongoing construction works in the capital region.
The Government is expediting the construction of the Seed Axis Road to provide seamless and direct connectivity to Amaravati from Vijayawada and Mangalagiri. The project is a key component of the capital city’s road infrastructure aimed at improving accessibility and mobility.
Construction of the two steel bridges across the Buckingham Canal and Kondaveeti Vagu has reached the final stages. Officials were directed to complete the remaining road works before the bridges are commissioned so that the entire corridor can be opened for public use at the earliest.
The timely completion of these projects is expected to significantly strengthen connectivity, improve traffic movement, and support the overall infrastructure development of Amaravati.
