Government Strengthens Support for Amaravati Farmers

The Hon’ble Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has taken a key decision to finalize annuity payments for farmers who contributed their lands during the second phase of the Amaravati capital development along with approving crop loan waivers.

A review meeting was held with farmers from 10 villages in the Tadikonda and Pedakurapadu constituencies where their concerns and expectations were discussed in detail.

As part of the decisions taken farmers who participated in the second phase of land pooling will receive an annuity of ₹40,000 per acre per year for a period of 10 years. This annuity will increase by ₹3,000 annually ensuring sustained financial support.

In addition orders have been issued to implement a crop loan waiver of up to ₹1.5 lakh per family providing immediate relief and strengthening the financial stability of farming households.

These measures reaffirm the Government’s commitment to farmer welfare while accelerating the development of a world-class capital city.
