As part of the Singapore visit on the second day we met the country’s Home Minister K. Shanmugam. We discussed various aspects of government measures for public safety and learned about the country’s legal system.
The Home Minister explained Singapore’s laws and the steps taken by the government to ensure the safety of its citizens. Today representatives of the Singapore government will also provide training on “Nation First” governance and political accountability.
Following this a training session will be held at NUS Cities on integrated planning future urban planning and land administration.
In the evening we will visit the Singapore City Gallery to study urban planning and understand how Singapore has developed over the past 50 years.
