Access to quality healthcare should never be limited by financial constraints. Guided by this belief, launched Narayana Netra Jyothi and Narayana Danta Raksha to provide free eye and dental healthcare services to those who need them most.
The inspiration for these initiatives came from interactions with senior citizens and underprivileged families who faced difficulties in accessing timely medical care. To address this need, Narayana on Wheels, a state-of-the-art mobile healthcare unit established with a personal contribution of ₹3 crore, was introduced to take healthcare services directly to people’s doorsteps.
Through Narayana Netra Jyothi, more than 10,500 eye examinations have been conducted and 6,000 free spectacles have been distributed. Beneficiaries requiring advanced treatment are also supported with free eye surgeries and follow-up care.
Through Narayana Danta Raksha, over 6,400 dental check-ups have been conducted, providing citizens access to quality dental consultations, treatment services, and oral health awareness programs through a fully equipped mobile dental clinic.
These initiatives reflect Shri Ponguru Narayana’s commitment to ensuring that quality healthcare reaches every section of society. By bringing essential medical services closer to communities, the programs continue to improve lives and strengthen public health across Nellore.
