A newly developed park with modern amenities was inaugurated at Balijapalem in Nellore City, marking another step forward in enhancing urban infrastructure and public recreational spaces.
The park has been developed with an investment of ₹40 lakhs and is equipped with a mini function hall and gym facilities, providing a multi-purpose space for both fitness and community activities. The initiative aims to offer residents a well-maintained and accessible environment for leisure, health, and social engagement.
As part of a broader urban development plan, a total of 47 parks have been taken up for development across Nellore City. Of these, 44 parks have already been completed, significantly improving the availability of green spaces within the city.
Further plans are underway to strengthen the city’s recreational infrastructure. Proposals for a large-scale adventure park and a dedicated water sports park are in progress and are expected to be implemented in the near future.
These initiatives reflect a continued focus on sustainable urban development and improving the quality of life for citizens through the creation of modern, inclusive public spaces.
