The Mulapeta Girls High School is being transformed into a modern, internationally compliant educational institution with an investment of ₹20 crore under CSR funding. This initiative aims to provide high-quality education to students from economically weaker backgrounds by upgrading infrastructure and ensuring access to world-class learning facilities.
As part of the modernization efforts, the school is being equipped with advanced classrooms, improved digital learning resources, and state-of-the-art sports facilities, including a modern sports ground. The objective is to create an environment that encourages holistic development, combining academic excellence with physical and extracurricular growth.
A key milestone in this initiative has been the reopening of the VRC School, which was previously closed by the earlier administration. This has enabled quality, free education for over 1,100 underprivileged students, ensuring that no child is deprived of learning opportunities.
Going forward, the government plans to upgrade 13 more government schools on similar lines, with a vision to make Nellore a model district in education. Through such initiatives, the focus remains on strengthening the public education system and ensuring equal opportunities for all students.
