Nellore City constituency and inspected several modernization works. I reviewed the school construction being carried out on Wakf Board land in Parameshwari Nagar at a cost of Rs 20 crore and also inspected the CC road works on Porlukatta being developed at a cost of Rs 1.2 crore. The school is being modernized by DSR Constructions using Rs 10 crore CSR funds. Inspired by VRC several donors have come forward to modernize 15 government high schools in the city.
While we are working to improve schools for the future of poor children some people are making criticisms. It would be better if they understand the facts before commenting. Even tree plantation programs are being politicized. So far not even a single rupee of government funds has been used for the trees planted under this initiative.
